Happy weekend and happy holidays! There were over 80 new titles added to Netflix Canada this week. We’ve picked out a few highlights and rounded up all the new titles for you. You have a great couple of days of binging ahead.
Let’s jump right in with a highly anticipated title, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. This alternative take on The Jungle Book tells the story of a young boy discovered and raised by wolves. As he grows he learns the ways of the animals and forest but eventually learns the temptations of man. An all-star cast helms this movie and the visuals are quite something. It’s a story that will hold your attention.
Next let’s look at a classic film I could never not mention, Little Women. Based on the Louisa May Alcott classic, this film looks at the loves, the lives, and the tribulations of the March sisters. Forever bonded from childhood promises to adult devotions and repercussions, the March family stands tall and loves strong. And the Christmas moments are just so wonderful.
This next pick is a different take. In The Dogs of Berlin, two cops investigate the murder of a famous Turkish-German soccer player, but one of them has underworld connections that mire the case in controversy.
