Happy Friday, bingers! There are a couple of surprise choices in this week’s offerings. If you are up for some serious watching this weekend then you are in good luck.
We have to talk about Outlaw King. I had low expectations for this film. Perhaps I’ve been burned too many times by an Original that looked promising. But this movie delivers. It is captivating from the beginning, has terrific battle scenes, and we get to see Chris Pine’s peen. Do we need more?
I couldn’t not bring up Scent of a Woman. It’s Thanksgiving time. It’s a classic. It’s a must-see film. Al Pacino and Chris O’Donnell star in this tale about a prep school student who has agreed to ‘babysit’ a blind veteran for the holiday. They both learn more from each other than they ever thought possible.
