Welcome to the weekend. Join us as we take a look at some of the highlights that have arrived over the past few days and roundup all the titles that were added this week to Netflix Canada.
You are in for a very big treat this weekend. You have quite a number of quality binge watching hours ahead of you, and I don’t say that lightly. This weekend is all about Octobery releases. Let’s start with one of my favorites, The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell. I don’t know where I would classify this show exactly, but I know number one on the checklist would be fun. This isn’t your ordinary DIY baking show. This one has a plot. With muppet characters that steal the show and cooking creations you just won’t believe, you have to see it. I am SO on board with another season as quickly as they can make it.
Another series you absolutely must add this weekend is The Haunting of Hill House. This isn’t what you think of when you think horror series. It’s Six Feet Under to another degree. The feeling of dread, the character development, the quick glimpses of ghostly beings that will make you want to hide under the covers. This is one of the best series I have seen on Netflix, and I have seen quite a few. As someone who isn’t really a fan of horror, I urge you to watch as it’s so much more.
