We’re already past the halfway point for February, and we hope you’re having a good start to 2018. Below we will be taking a look at all the new titles that have come to Canadian Netflix throughout the past week and whether anyone of them are worth a specific mention. A total of 41 new titles have been added, consisting of 31 new Movies, 5 documentaries and 5 new TV series. Like every week, we have taken some time to pick out three titles that caught our eye and briefly outlined them. Feel free to take a look through the list below, and if you spot something that you think we should have mentioned, please let us know in the comments.

Our first pick for this week is the new partial Netflix Original ‘The Ritual‘. This thriller, horror follows a group of old college friends who reunite for a long hike in the wilderness. Starring Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali and Robert James-Collier the group soon get the uneasy feeling that they aren’t alone and some mysterious presence is following and hunting them down. If you’re more of a classic horror fan then this film should appeal to you, especially as it’s now available to stream on Netflix.

Another film that’s made it’s way to Canadian Netflix is the blockbuster ‘Jurassic World‘. This reboot of the well known Jurassic Park franchise was welcomed with open arms and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Vincent D’Onofrio. A new theme park has been opened some 30 years after the events of the first film and they still seem to have learned nothing. The executives and scientists of the park have been constantly looking for new and exciting dinosaurs to invest in the future. But of course, their innovations come at a price, and a hybrid genetically modified dino breaks out of its cage and wreaks havoc upon the park. A sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is due to release in cinemas in June of this year.

Finally, we have chosen to mention the new Netflix Original from David Letterman ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction‘. This is a talk show where Letterman invites guests he things are interesting and simply interviews them about all aspects of life. There are currently two editions available on Netflix, one with Barack Obama, and the other with George Clooney.
