December has arrived, and along with the Christmas spirit comes a number of great titles for you to watch over the coming weeks. The beginning of this month is a little odd, only 15 titles have been added to Canadian Netflix over the last week, whereas the 1st of the month normally welcomes considerable more films and shows. But despite this, we have still taken time to pick out three titles individually to talk about.
Our first pick is the 2017 film ‘The Circle‘ starring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. This Sci-fi Drama follows a woman who lands her dream job at The Circle, a very powerful and influential technology company. But as her life get’s increasingly entangled in the company, she realises that there is an unethical agenda that could potentially change humanity. Despite mixed reviews since it’s release earlier this year, we think that this is still a noteworthy addition to Netflix.
The second season of the new Netflix Original ‘Glitch‘ has just been welcomed to our screens. The Australian paranormal series first premiered on ABC but has since been co-produced by Netflix. The show follows the mysterious resurrections of a number of people in the small town of Yoorana, Victoria. James Hayes is a police officer struggling to keep the situation behind closed doors and desperately attempting to connect the individuals. Many will be glad to see this drama now available on Netflix.
Our final choice for this week is the 2007 film ‘Resident Evil: Exincion‘. Obviously based on the Capcom video game series, the Resident Evil film’s follow their own story and centre around Alice, a badass heroine with a hidden past. Although the film series as a whole received a number of negative reviews, if you are a fan of high-octane zombie action, then you can’t really go wrong with trying this film out, especially now it’s on Netflix.
