May is almost over and the past week has seen a total of 25 new titles come to Candian Netflix. Along with a full list, below you will find that we have picked out three titles individually and briefly highlighted them. 11 movies, 3 documentaries, 8 TV series and 3 standup shows have all been added.
Our first pick is the 5th season of the popular FOX comedy show ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘. The show follows the employees of the 99th Brooklyn precinct, most notably Jake Peralta a talented but immature detective. Many fans of the show have been waiting for the 5th season to come to Netflix and will be pleased to see it’s arrival.
The 3th and final season of ‘Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia‘ has just released, created by Guillermo del Toro. The series is the first installment in the Tales of Arcadia animated series and follows Jim Lake Jr. an ordinary kid who finds a magic amulet. This amulet gives Jim the great responsibility of becoming a Trollhunter and tasked with defending the mythical Troll world. Since 2016 the show has been a huge success and although this is the last Trollhunter series, there still are two more series due to release that will expand the Tales of Arcadia.
Last but not least is the new Netflix Original ‘Ibiza‘ starring Gillian Jacobs as Harper. After being sent on a business trip Harper meets and falls for a DJ in Spain. Ger two best friends quickly convince her to travel to Ibiza in order to find him. Although the film might not be for everyone if you’re partial to a good Netflix rom-com this is definitely one to check out.
