Downsizing now on Netflix Canada
Welcome to your weekly roundup of what’s new on Netflix in Canada. There have been a few notable movie additions including one of the most interesting concepts of a movie in recent memory. Let’s start off with the highlights and move onto the complete list of the 42 titles added this week.
Let’s start off with the movie with the great concept but perhaps the finished project isn’t quite what you might expect. Downsizing stars Matt Daemon who sees a new initiative to turn small to help save the planet.
Sticking with movies, the big Netflix movie this week is The After Party. It tells the story of an aspiring rapper who has the opportunity to make his dreams come true. It stars Kyle Harvey and Harrison Holzer. Our final movie highlight of the week is Death at a Funeral. This 2007 movie directed by Frank Oz and is a real fan-favourite.
Moving swiftly over to new TV, the biggest release of the week is The Innocents. This British production is a sci-fi/fantasy following a young couple where one is a shapeshifter.
Netflix Canada also finally got The Sinner season 1 long after other English speaking regions had gotten it. If you haven’t seen it already, we highly recommend starting now!
