The past week on Netflix Canada has been one of the best on record for the streaming service! There are some truly excellent films now available to stream, including the addition of one particular high-octane car franchise, and a bunch of Steven Speilberg films. The Fast & Furious Franchise
The addition of the seven missing Fast & Furious movies means that Netflix Canada now has all eight available to stream right now! To get you in the mood for the upcoming ninth film of the franchise, what better time than to binge through all 8 movies.
Schindler’s List (1993)
One of the most harrowing films to ever be made, this oscar-winning feature was one of the best films directed by the acclaimed Steven Spielberg. Phenomenal acting throughout, Speilberg was able to paint the picture of the horrors that the Jews faced at the hands of Nazi Germany.
In 1939 businessman Oskar Schindler arrives in Krakow to make his fortune from World War 2. Upon joining the Nazi party, Schindler bribes many Nazi officials so that he can have his factory to produce enamelware. With the help of a Jewish official, Schindler hires a from the Jewish community that has been overcrowded into the Ghetto of Krakow. Upon seeing the monstrous and inhumane acts the Nazis commit on the Jewish people changes Schindler from profiting from the war and instead tries to save as many lives as he can from it.
The Road to El Dorado (2000)
One of the most underrated animated features of the 21st Century, The Road to El Dorado is a great animated tale that all of the family can enjoy together.
Tulio, and Miguel, two back-alley swindlers from Spain accidentally board a boat to the new world, lead by the infamous Hernán Cortés. With a map in hand and a trail to the fabled golden city of El Dorado. Upon finding the city they are welcomed as gods and with it comes untold riches.
