The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King is now available to stream on Netflix Canada
It’s been another good week on Netflix Canada with the addition of 32 brand new titles to the library. There’s plenty to keep you entertained for the next week, or so we hope! Here’s what’s new on Netflix Canada for November 22nd, 2019.
First of all, here’s the best new additions this week:
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
To conclude one of the greatest cinematic trilogies of all time, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King swept it at the Oscars in 2004, winning every category it was nominated for, with a total of 11 awards. One of the greatest cinematic experiences of all time, if you’ve never watched The Lord of the Rings trilogy, you need to watch them immediately, please.
With Saruman defeated, the threat of Isengard is over. As the fellowship looks east to the growing threat from Mordor, Aragorn must decide his future, and with it, deciding the fate of the kingdom of Gondor. Meanwhile, Frodo, Sam, and Gollum travel ever closer to the hellish landscape of Mordor, as their journey to destroy the one ring comes to a destructive end.
Batman Begins (2005)
Hailed as one of the best iterations of the Dark Knight ever, Christian Bale gave a fantastic performance in this Batman origin story. As the first of the Dark Knight trilogy, Batman Begins often gets overshadowed by its sequel The Dark Knight, but don’t let that deter you, Batman Begins is an exceptionally well-made film by Christopher Nolan and can be enjoyed by all.
After the tragic death of his parents at the hands of a Gotham thug, Bruce Wayne decides to take the fate of Gotham into his own hands. After learning hand to hand combat and many other techniques, Bruce returns to Gotham and takes on the mantle of the Batman. As a symbol of justice, Batman uses fear as his greatest weapon to take down the scum of Gotham.
Nailed It! Holiday!: Season 2 N
It’s that time of year again as we see the latest holiday theme season of Nailed It! return to Netflix. There’s plenty of delicious baked treats on display that’ll leave your mouths watering.
