‘Animal House’

It’s a new month! That means a big list of new and returning titles hitting the service. Over 70 new titles were added to the Netflix catalog on November first. We take a look at a few of the highlights to make going through the list a little easier for you.

Buckle in! A ton of great titles are being added this month and a slew of dynamite movies hit Netflix on the first. We picked a few for you that we think are worth a watch. Many more additions are in store for you in November. It’s going to be a great month of streaming!

Animal House (1978)

Directed by John Landis and written by Harold Ramis, follow the misadventures of the pledges at the notoriously rowdy Delta Tau Chi House.


Cape Fear (1991)

Directed by Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Nick Nolte star in this film about a lawyer being terrorized by a former client. It’s a must watch.


Children of Men (2006)

Society faces extinction when the human race loses the ability to reproduce. Martial law is put into effect and chaos reigns. Suddenly, after 27 years, a woman finds herself pregnant and everything must be done to protect her.


Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Richard Dreyfuss stars as a man who becomes obsessed with an experience he has with a UFO.


Cloverfield (2008)

A group of New Yorkers document a terrifying night as the city is attacked by a monster the size of a skyscraper.


From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)

Directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Quentin Tarantino, two outlaw brothers are on the run. After kidnapping a preacher and his kids, they sneak across the border in the family’s RV to hole up in a bar…a bar that turns out to be a home base for big trouble.


Ghostbusters (1984)

Four scientists open up their own ghost-catching business.


Good Will Hunting (1997)

An undercover genius is discovered working as a janitor at MIT.


Sixteen Candles (1984)

A young girl realizes her entire family has forgotten her birthday.


The English Patient (1996)

A badly burned man reveals his past to the nurse tending to him in an Italian monastery near the end of World War II.
