It’s a new month which means a big list of renewed and returning titles on Netflix. We take a look at a few highlights of the new titles available today.

The first of the month means a big drop of titles on Netflix. We took the work out of wading through the list and have picked a few titles you’ll want to add to your queue this month. This list is only highlights of titles added today. Many more additions are in store for you in June. To stay updated on additions throughout the month bookmark our What’s New page, updated daily.

June 1st Highlights:

Blue Jasmine (2013)

Cate Blanchett stars as a rich New York City homemaker in crisis who finds herself forced to live a more modest lifestyle.


The Departed (2006)

Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, and Mark Wahlberg star in this Martin Scorsese film. To take down Boston’s Irish Mafia, the police send in one of their own men to infiltrate it, not realizing the syndicate has done the same thing.


He Named Me Malala (2015)

This documentary tells the story of Malala Yousafzai, a teenage Pakistani girl shot in the face for her advocacy of women’s education. It’s a moving story of her survival and her continued efforts. Malala was a guest on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman and the interview is very worthy of a watch.


Miracle (2004)

Kurt Russell stars as U.S. hockey coach Herb Brooks who unites a motley crew of college athletes and turns them into a force to be reckoned with at the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Outside In (2018)

Jay Duplass stars as a man who, after serving time for a crime he didn’t commit, forms a complicated, life-altering bond with the woman who advocated for his early release.


Taking Lives (2004)

Angelena Joli stars in as Illeana Scott, an FBI profiler who is recruited to assist the police in their desperate search for a serial killer who assumes the identities of his victims.


Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (2008)

A newly dumped teen finds himself attracted to a live wire who shares his taste in music when they meet during a night on the town in New York City.
