Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning now on Netflix US
Happy Monday (yes, it’s Monday) and Netflix is starting the week in the US with three new titles available. All three of these titles were not announced in advance so they’re a bit of a surprise. Here’s what’s new on Netflix for April 13th.
This week we’ll see some huge movies hit the service including Netflix’s own Sergio but also great licensed titles such as Hail, Ceaser! plus many more titles.
We just wanted to mention a couple of titles that have departed Netflix today too. Band Aid, Jis Desh Men Ganga Behti Hai, and Radical: the Controversial Saga of Dada Figueiredo have all left the service.
Now let’s dive into what’s new on Netflix for today:
Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning & The Impact
Genre: Documentary, Crime
Cast: Jim DeRogatis, Gerald Griggs, Candice Norcott, Jody Adewale
The second docu-series exposing R Kelly just dropped on Netflix today. It examines further evidence against the famed pop star with new women coming forward to share their stories.
In total, 297 new minutes of footage joined Netflix today.
Netflix also got the companion documentary that looks into the impact of the Surviving R Kelly series. Entitled “The Impact” the documentary is hosted by Soledad O’Brien who throughout the course of two hours, takes a look at the aftermath of what the docs exposed.
Married at First Sight (Season 9)
Genre: Reality-TV
Cast: Pepper Schwartz, Calvin Roberson, Jessica Griffin
Runtime: 42 min
Missing your Love is Blind fix? This Lifetime series Netflix has just licensed may fill the void.
16 episodes arrive today and although it won’t sway people who don’t like reality series.
