Cannon Busters season 1 now on Netflix
Happy Thursday and welcome to your daily recap of what’s new on Netflix for August 15th. It used to be the case that midway through the month we got plenty of additional treats from third parties but that no longer seems to be the case. Instead, today we’ve got plenty of new foreign Netflix Original titles.
Netflix’s lineup for today in the United States looks mediocre compared to some of the other countries lineups for today. For example, Netflix UK got the tenth season Archer. Netflix Canada got some big movies such as Norbit, Forest Gump, and Bridget Jones’s Diary while Netflix Australia got new movies such as Suicide Squad, Jersey Boys and Arthur.
Never the less, Netflix US did get the latest season of The 100 yesterday and is set for Mindhunter season 2 and a slew of other Netflix Originals for tomorrow.
Now let’s take a look at what’s new on Netflix US for August 15th:
Cannon Busters (Season 1) Netflix Original

After numerous delays and an unexpected path to release, season 1 of Cannon Busters is finally here. The unique and well-crafted anime series based on the manga of the same name should be on everyone’s watch lists.
The series is about a team of travelers traversing through the land of Gearbolt.
Once you’re done with this title, you should check out Netflix’s documentary on its other anime series called “Enter the Anime”.
Sacred Games (Season 2) Netflix Original
Genre: Action, Crime, Drama, Thriller
Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Neeraj Kabi
Netflix’s biggest Indian Original is back for its second season. The high-octane criminal drama sees a cop finding himself wrapped up in the world of a gang.
