It’s Monday and we’re kicking off the week with a bunch of brand new Netflix Originals and a few new foreign movies with one being particularly worthy of a watch. Here’s what’s new on Netflix for August 5th, 2019.
All was quiet over the weekend but just a reminder, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj has returned for its fourth volume with new episodes releasing every Sunday for the next 5 weeks.
There have been quite a few removals over the weekend and today which we’ll list in full at the end of this article. For now, here’s what’s new:
Enter the Anime (2019) Netflix Original

Featuring interviews and footage from many of the anime you can find right now on Netflix, this documentary introduces the genre to someone who is unfamiliar with it.
It’s an hour crash course on the art form that compels millions around the world. If you’re not hot on anime, give this a go and you may just find your next binge. Even veterans of the genre will enjoy the insight from some of the biggest names in anime.

No Good Nick (Part 2)

The Netflix teen sitcom No Good Nick returns to conclude the first full season of No Good Nick with part 2. Starring Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things) he plays the father who has just fostered a girl who is less than honest with her new family. She spent the first part of the show scamming her new family but looks like she had a potential change of heart towards the end.
Part 2 once again consists of 10 episodes and now we’ll have wait and see whether the show will get a full 20 episode renewal.
No One Will Ever Know (2018)

For loves of independent Spanish movies, this is absolutely for you. Jesús Torres Torres writes and directs this drama.

What’s Been Removed from Netflix (August 5)
Today saw the removal of the entire SlowTV library from Norway. The various titles saw relatively mundane things play out over a long period of time.
