A Single Man (2009) is back on Netflix US
A new start to the week brings plenty of new Netflix goodies. We’ve also got a couple of titles that released over the weekend to bring to your attention to. Here’s what’s new on Netflix for November 11th.
Just to quickly recap the new weekend additions, we saw the return of the popular Indian comedy series Little Things which began its life as a YouTube series. On Sunday, Hasan Minhaj returned to Netflix to speak about mental health.

Our first movie highlight of the week goes to a movie that has streamed on Netflix in the past but long enough ago to warrant highlighting it again.
It sees an English professor lose his boyfriend suddenly and struggles to move on. It’s set in the 1960s and is directed by Tom Ford who also be involved with Quantum of Solace, Zoo Lander and more recently, directed Nocturnal Animals.
Colin Firth and Julianne Moore put in superb performances here which is why it was nominated for best performance for an actor.
To Be of Service (2019)

Director: Josh Aronson
Runtime: 88 min
Monday’s suck and this documentary will certainly improve anyone’s day. The documentary follows veterans who suffer with PTSD and their relationships post-deployment with their service dogs.
The documentary is written and directed by Josh Aronson who as nominated for his 2000 documentary Sound and Fury.

Blackbear / Submission (2019)

Director: J.M. Berrios
Cast: Eric Roberts, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Lorynn York, Kevin Sizemore
Runtime: 94 min
This sports drama movie starts with two former marines returning home after an intense tour including an interrogation. They’re looking for new meaning while trying to deal with their demons by getting involved with mixed martial arts.
The movie goes as Black Bear in some circumstances but Submission is how it’s listed on Netflix.
The movie, despite its confusion surrounding its name, saw fairly decent reviews with it sitting at 6.5/10 on IMDb currently.
