Happy weekend, streamers! We round up all the new titles that hit Netflix this week.

Welcome to a new week and a new list of titles. A lot of different genres are included this week. From the serious watch to a baking show, all of your needs are covered.

Below are my picks for the week. I have seen them all and would personally recommend them.

For your convenience, a full list of the titles added this week is at the end of this article. To keep up with new additions be sure to follow our What’s New page, updated daily.

A new season of ‘Beat Bugs’ is streaming now on Netflix.

The Outlaw King Netflix Original

Chris Pine stars in this grey tale about a warrior out to reclaim his throne. After being crowned King of Scotland, Robert the Bruce is forced into exile by the English and leads a band of outlaws to help him take back their kingdom. Based on a true story, this movie is interesting, has great battle scenes, and is put together well. It’s almost disappointing that is isn’t a series. Netflix did a great job with this one.

Into the Forest

A slightly older movie, but one very worthy of a watch, is Into The Forest. It’s about two sisters living deep in the Pacific Northwest who must fight for survival after an apocalyptic blackout leaves them without basic necessities. It’s fascinating to see what they come up with to get along and the film is engaging from the beginning. Add this one to your queue.

John Leguizamo’s Latin History for Morons Netflix Original

John Leguizamo brings his Tony award-nominated Broadway show to Netflix. Inspired by his eighth-grade son, Leguizamo digs deep into history and takes us on a multicultural quest to learn about Latino history through humor. John Leguizamo has always had the ability to captivate with voices, props, and movement and this special is no different. It’s an educational journey that’s pleasant to take and I highly recommend it.
