Netflix Orignal Outlaw King is based on the exploits of historical figure King Robert de Bruce. In the late 13th century after Sir William Wallace is executed, Robert de Bruce (Chris Pine) takes arms against the king of England. Crowned as the king of Scots, Robert goes to war against the English and is decreed as an Outlaw.
After the success of The Lord of The Rings, director Peter Jackson was given the directors seat for the remake of King Kong. The film went on to win 3 Academy awards for best sound editing, best visual effects, and best sound mixing. Loosely based on the plot of the original 1933 classic aspiring director Carl Denham (Jack Black) and his crew travel Skull Island to shoot his latest film. Upon arriving at the island aspiring actress Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) is kidnapped by the giant gorilla King Kong. As Jack Driscoll and the surviving members of the crew cross the island to save Ann there are more terrible dangers than just the giant gorilla.
This Sunday will mark the 100th anniversary for the end of World War One. The 11th of November is a day of memorial for not just the United Kingdom but the commonwealth and many countries across the world. For the United States, they acknowledge this time of remembrance as Veterans Day. To coincide with Veterans and Armistice day Netflix has released a brand new documentary series to honor those who earned the distinguished Medal of Honor.
The anthology docuseries is a detailed telling of the bravery and sacrifice of the servicemen who went above and beyond the call of duty in service of their country.
