Welcome back to another week of what’s on Netflix UK. It’s been a fairly quiet week this week so it’s slim-pickings I’m afraid.
First up we have the music documentary “Metallica: Some Kind of Monster”. This highly acclaimed show follows the metal band’s personal trials during their recording of St Anger in 2003. There is also a 26min film recorded 10 years later to catch up with the band.
The MMA (mixed martial arts) film “Warrior” has made a welcome return too this week. This emotional drama sees two estranged brothers end up in the same MMA tournament. When their paths collide they must confront the issues that tore them apart.
“Happy Times” is a quirky, Latin-American romcom (subtitled) about a cartoonist trying to end the relationship with his girlfriend. Failing miserably himself, he hires an agency that specialises in breaking up couples albeit with some obscure methods.
And finally for the younger viewers this week we have the CG animated “Garfield’s Pet Force”. This fun, family animation sees space aliens trying to enslave the world and Garfield must hire the help of some comic book super heroes to help save the world.
