Just one week until Christmas and Netflix UK have given us a few treats already this week – it’s a very mixed bag, so I’m sure there’ll be something in here that you can enjoy!

If you like your TV series then how about the complete collection of “Californication” and “The Tudors”? With 7 seasons and 4 seasons respectively these should keep you going for some time.

Comedy fans will appreciate Bill Burr’s new animated series “F Is For Family”, a Netflix exclusive; or Scottish favourites “Rab C. Nesbitt”, “Burnistoun” and “Empty”. There’s also 2001’s “Josie and the Pussycats” – a somewhat satirical look at teen music.

If horror is more your thing, and who doesn’t love a good scare at Christmas(!), then there are a few options for you: “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones”, “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” and “Antichrist”.

“Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works”, “Glitter Force”, “Little Witch Academia” and “Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade” make up the animé additions for this week.

Action movie fans will be pleased to see Willem Dafoe in “The Hunter” as well as the return of Marvel’s super hero ensemble “Avengers Assemble”.

Those who prefer drama will enjoy “X+Y”, “The Monster of Mangatiti”, “On The Beach”, “Winter’s Bone”, “We Need to Talk About Kevin” and “Wuthering Heights”.

The kids will be finishing school today, if they haven’t already, and there are a few things to keep them occupied too such as: “The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl”, “Santa Claws”, “Snow Buddies”, “Moshi Monsters: The Movie” and “Monster Math Squad”
