New Releases on Netflix UK (23rd December 2016)

Merry Christmas from What’s On Netflix UK and what a package Netflix has delivered to us this last week. There is definitely something for everyone here.

For comedy fans we have “Drinking Buddies” sees two brewery workers, Luke and Kate, spending their evenings drinking and flirting. They’re the perfect match for each other albeit for one catch: they’re both in long-term relationships already. The beer doesn’t help them to draw the line between ‘friends’ and ‘more than friends’…

Other comedy additions this week include “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”,  “Austenland”, “The To Do List” and “Dumb and Dumber To”.

In crime films we have “The Equalizer” starring Denzel Washington as a retired McColl. McColl has a mysterious past that he thinks he has left behind, but when he meets Teri, a young prostitute, he brings himself back into action. With his renewed sense of  justice he aims to hunt down the Russian Mafia controlling Teri.

Other crime additions this week include “No Good Deed”, “Baby Boy”, “Stealing Cars” and “A Most Violent Year”

Brad Pitt has two films this week. The first is the cult classic “Fight Club” and the second is the more recent war film “Fury”.

And, finally for this week, the TV updates. Season 3 of the comedy series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has arrived this week along with a new Netflix exclusive comedy series called “Call My Agent!”. The Christmas special for sci-fi series “Sense8” has also arrived this week.

That’s it from me and I hope you have a great Christmas!
