A relatively quiet, but a good week this week for new additions to Netflix UK. ‘7’ seems to be a lucky number this week with both fan favourites “Pretty Little Liars” and “Archer” getting Season 7 added. “Pretty Little Liars” has new episodes added every Wednesday and the full season 7 of “Archer” is available now.
Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” has arrived and is still one of my favourite films from the studio. The film is an intergalactic adventure starring an idiot, a talking racoon, a strong guy, a talking tree with a vocabulary of just a few words and a green lady. Yeah, it’s not the most sensible of storylines but it’s an epic film with a good mixture of humour and action.
A new Netflix Original movie has arrived too starring Paul Rudd. “The Fundamentals of Caring” follows a carer and a wheelchair bound teen, Trevor, who head out on a roadtrip to see the worst roadside attractions in America. Along the way they pick up a hitch-hiker and hunt for Trevor’s dad. It’s a feel-good comedy about friendship and relationships – give it a watch and let us know what you think.
And, finally, for the younger viewers (or fans of dragons) season 3 of “Dragons: Race to the Edge” has arrived today. The series follows Hiccup and Toothless in this spin off from the “How To Train Your Dragon” movie (also available on Netflix UK)
