From crime-dramas to rom coms there’s a little bit of something for everyone this week. Let’s get to it, here’s what’s new on Netflix UK this week for August 16th, 2019.

First of all, here’s the past week’s highlights:

Mindhunter: Season 2 N

It’s been almost two years but Netflix’s most popular crime-drama Mindhunter has finally returned! The wait has been long and arduous but certainly more than worth it.

After making headway with their research, Holden got too cocky and his confrontation with Ed Kemper resulted in a nervous breakdown. But Holden and his partner Bill Tench must continue their research into interviewing some of America’s most dangerous killers, including the infamous Charles Manson. A serial killer targeting children in Atlanta also attracts the attention of the FBI, in the hope of catching the killer they send Holden and Tench to figure out who the murderer is.

Psycho (1960)

One of the greatest horror films of the 20th century finally makes its way to Netflix UK. Streaming for the first time is the immortal film Psycho by legendary director Alfred Hitchcock.

After stealing thousands of dollars from her employer to escape from her boyfriend, Marion Crane is on the run. Overcome by exhaustion during a rainstorm, Marion is left with no choice but to seek shelter at the rundown Bates Motel. It’s here she meets Norman Bates, the polite but highly strung owner of the hotel with a fascination for taxidermy and a toxic relationship with his mother.

Archer: Season 10

The real Archer after being shot at the end of the seventh season still remains in a coma. Even after the events of Dreamland and Danger Island isn’t enough to wake up the inept super spy. Dreaming once again, Archer dreams of the not too distant future where Archer and the rest of the ISIS team head to the final frontier. Archer is the hard-drinking captain of the spacefaring M/V Seamus salvage ship.
