Black Summer (Season 1) Netflix Original
The whacky and wonderful Z-Nation gets the prequel treatment with the release of Black Summer. Compared to the craziness of the sequel series, Black Summer brings you back down to earth and the fear of the zombie returns. Claustrophobic, black and bleak, a very worthy watch of any fan of the zombie genre.
Set a couple of years before the events of Z-Nation, during the darkest days of the zombie apocalypse, a mother joins with a group of strangers to help find her lost daughter and their loved ones.
The Perfect Date (2019) Netflix Original
Noah Centineo returns to Netflix for a second time for The Perfect Date. Co-star of All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Noah has fast become a heartthrob for many of the teenage Netflix subscribers.
Brooks Rattigan has dreams of getting into Yale, his dream Ivy League School. While he’s outstandingly gifted in the academic department, what he lacks is the funds to make his college dream come true. When he poses as a Boyfriend for a girl named Celia, he’s the dream stand-in, earning some extra cash for his tome too. Giving him the idea to make money, with his friend Murph the pair launch an app selling Brooks as a stand-in for hire for all occasions. Business booms and Brooks even meet the girl of his dreams Shelby Pace. But when the business and Shelby begin to dominate his life, Brooks must reassess what’s most important to him.
War Dogs (2016)
At the height of the Iraq war, two young men go into arms dealing, exploiting a government initiative that allows them to bid on U.S Military contracts. Starting off small and raking an ungodly amount of money it isn’t long before the pair are in over their heads as they land a $300 Million contract to supply Afghanistan forces.
