With the recent release of Game of Thrones Season 8, we’ve seen some lackluster Originals added to Netflix UK this past week. Thankfully there have been some excellent new additions we can still discuss. Here are all the latest titles added to Netflix UK for the 19th of April, 2019.
First of all, here are the highlights from the past week:
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men No Tales (2017)
Pirates of the Caribbean has been one of Disney’s biggest money-making franchises in the 21st century. Since the release of Curse of the Black Pearl, a further four titles have been released making billions of dollars at the box office. While some may feel the franchise has gone stale, the fifth title still performed well at the box office.
In his youth, Captain Jack Sparrow evaded the ruthless Salazar through the Devil’s Triangle, leading the Spanish captain to his death. When Jack breaks an old bond it releases the shackles of captain Salazar and he is able to escape the horror of the Devil’s Triangle. With Salazar now on the hunt for Jack Sparrow, Jack must seek out the mythical trident of Neptune if he has any hope of survival. To help him on his adventure, Jack reluctantly accepts the help of a beautiful astronomer and a young man from the British navy.
Jurassic Park Trilogy (1993/1997/2001)
Clever girl… We expect there to be many subscribers in the UK binging on Jurrasic Park this weekend like a T-Rex would a goat. One of the most iconic film franchises of all time, the Jurrasic Park trilogy arriving on Netflix UK is huge and if you haven’t already watched it, add these films to your watch list immediately.
American Pie (1999)
High School seniors Jim, Kevin, Oz, and Finch are still virgins. Tired and embarrassed by the insults of their friend Stifler, they vow to lose their virginities on prom night.
