It’s that time of the week again where we give you the full list of titles that have been added to Netflix UK. This week, 17th August 2018, there’s been a total of 54 new titles. This includes 43 new films, seven new TV series, three new documentaries and one new stand-up special. As usual, we’ll recommend three out of the whole list that we think you’ll enjoy watching.

Sex and the City is a story of four women and their journey through relationships, careers and life in general. Many people will have seen the series and loved the story since then, or others may have been introduced to their lives through the films. Sex and the City 2 is now available to stream on Netflix UK – can you believe that it’s been eight years since the release of the film? The film features the women on an adventure in Abu Dhabi where they are away from their normal lives. It’s the getaway that Carrie needs after a mistake in her marriage. This film is the perfect girls-night-in movie and any fan of these four fabulous females will enjoy watching it.

There are many stories that we grow up with and love. They latch onto our hearts and when the TV Guide says they’ll be on, we rejoice. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) has been added to Netflix and although this film is primarily for kids, adults love it too. The movie spotlights Willy Wonka’s candy factory and all of the amazing sweets he has created. There are only five children who get to visit and that’s all because they found a golden ticket in a chocolate bar. The main character of the show, Charlie, is not a kid who has had everything. He is a decent and kind young man who feels like the luckiest person in the world to get the chance to see the magical factory. The movie stars Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka.

Having a crush on someone feels like a huge deal when you’re young – you watch them, you subtly try to get them to notice you and you feel on top of the world if they even say one word to you. Lara is someone who usually goes unnoticed. However, after her love letters are spilt and shown to her five crushes, her existence is suddenly in the spotlight. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018) is a Netflix Original starring Lana Condor, Noah Centineo and Janel Parrish, who many of you might know from her role in Pretty Little Liars. This film is a typical teenage drama but it’s made to be slightly romantic and comedic.
