Bridget Jones’s Baby is now on Netflix UK

We’re at the end of August now and it’s the final weekend before the Summer holidays come to a close. Many of you will probably be seeking something nice to do this weekend, but for those of you who will be staying in or want something good to watch in the evenings, we’ve got you covered. This week, August 31st 2018, Netflix UK welcomed a total of 21 new titles. That includes 16 new movies, nine new TV series, three new documentaries/docuseries and one new stand up special. It won’t be long before we can bring you an update for the beginning of September, which is likely to hold many more titles than this. However, we’re going to recommend three titles that have become available this week in the hope that you enjoy them as much as we will be this weekend.

There’s a bit of Bridget Jones in all of us and her life is one that many love to watch, laugh at and relate to. The newest film, Bridget Jones’s Baby (2016), is now available to stream on Netflix UK. All of the Bridget Jones films are brilliant but the newest one is something special. It’s Bridget at the age of 43 and as she tries to let loose and have a good time, she’s left with something more than temporary. As the title suggests, she becomes pregnant. The biggest shocker isn’t that though – it’s the fact that she does not know who the father is. There are two men in the running, one being our favourite Mark Darcy and the other being the hunky and handsome American man named Jack. We all know who we want the father to be but it’s not until the baby is born that everything comes to light. This film is a chick-flick that is perfect for any girls night in.

Moving away from home can be stressful. Especially when you know you’re moving yourself and your family away simply so that you can launder money. Ozark (Season 2) is now available on Netflix UK and stars Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) as the main character. When things initially go wrong, he has no choice but to pick up everything and move. If he doesn’t, his family will be in danger and that is something he is not willing to compromise. The first series of this show was a huge success and so it was quickly renewed for the second season and now it has finally hit our screens. There’s a total of ten episodes to watch in season two.

Being a woman is a difficult job. Our bodies go through so much and we constantly have to be on our toes. One thing that’s even harder is being a mother. Although it is, of course, one of the most rewarding jobs, it’s also tough to balance life in general with all the complications and chaos of parenthood. Bad Moms (2016) shows the lives of three women who are ready to have a good time. Single mum Amy struggles with the responsibilities of being a parent and so when she starts acting differently than expected, two others join her on her mission for rebellious behaviour. This film stars Mila Kunis, Christina Applegate and Kristen Bell.
