V-Wars is now available to stream on Netflix UK
There’s 87 brand new additions to be enjoyed on Netflix UK this week. It’s thanks to the start of a new month, December, that we’ve seen plenty of new titles arrive in the UK library. Here’s what’s new on Netflix UK this week for December 6th, 2019.

V-Wars: Season 1 N
Popular Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder returns to the Vampire genre once more with V-Wars. Based on the popular comic-book of the same name, V-Wars is certainly one of the most bizarre originals of the year. While the story doesn’t turn the vampire genre on its head, the design of the supernatural creatures does. If you’re a fan of the Mortal Kombat video games, the designs of the vampires will remind you of a certain Tarkatan fighter.
After a mysterious disease begins transforming people into vampires, based on the folklore of each victim’s heritage, Dr. Luther Swann is pitted against his best friend, now a powerful vampire leader. The show chronicles the outbreak of the first Vampire War, from the savage murders committed by the newly affected to full-out battles with vampire terrorist cells, and the peace-mongering factions in between.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)
To date, the scope of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is the largest retelling of the classic English tale. Off the back of his success in Sons of Anarchy, the role of Arthur was Charlie Hunnam’s biggest role after the series concluded. While the film didn’t have an impressive performance at the box office, it’s still a fun film that plenty can enjoy.
After pulling the legendary sword Excalibur from its stone, streetwise misfit Arthur must accept his destiny as a future king, and stand up to his villainous uncle.
Erin Brockovich (2000)
Julia Roberts won the Oscar for Best Actress thanks to her performance as real-life legal consultant Erin Brockovich. An incredible film, based on an equally incredible real-life story.
Erin Brockovich, a two-time divorcee and single mother of three children is struggling to get by. When Erin begins a job at a small law firm, Masry & Vititoe, she discovers that there is a connection between the sick residents of the small town of Hinckley and the nearby Pacific Gas & Electric water plant. The case builds to a shocking and deadly discovery, becoming the largest class-action lawsuit in American history.
