Happy Friday! There’s a whole heap of Netflix Originals and brand new titles that have arrived this past week. With 44 brand new titles this week you’re going to be spoilt for choice.

First of all, here are the highlights from this past week:

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

As Marvel entered into its third phase of movies, Guardians of the Galaxy returned for its second outing far. The beloved band of intergalactic misfits has had some of the best moments, visuals and music in the entirety of Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Guardians of the Galaxy have now become the galaxies’ most renowned heroes for hire after defeating Ronan. But when a job goes wrong, thanks to Rocket’s deft paws, the Guardians are left stranded on a deserted planet. Peter ‘Star-Lord’ Quill is reunited with a man claiming to be his father and offers to take him to his home planet. With Gamora and Drax following Quill, it’s up to Rocket and Groot to defend the ship as the Ravagers catch up to the Guardians to get their revenge for Peter’s betrayal. Meanwhile, a mutiny is brewing in the ranks of the Ravagers with Yandu’s captaincy at risk.

The Dirt (2019) Netflix Original

The most notorious band in history finally have an adaptation for their best selling book ‘The Dirt.’ A no holds barred take on the rise of the band’s career, showcasing their highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Suicide Squad (2016)

DC’s entrance to their shared universe has been somewhat lackluster, to say the least, but that’s not to say it doesn’t have a loyal following of fans. There was an intense hype surrounding the release of Suicide Squad in 2016, and it’ll be up to you to decide on whether or not it lived up to it!

Locked in a deep hole with the key thrown away, some of the deadliest supervillains are incarcerated in a secret government prison. Amanda Waller a ruthless and tyrannical US Intelligence Officer, uses the supervillains to create an elite expendable team tasked with taking down an evil and ancient entity.
