It’s Friday and although Netflix’s release schedule is still a little erratic, there are still some great new titles to check out today. Here’s what’s new on Netflix on April 26th, 2019.

With that out of the way, here’s what’s new for April 26th.
The Sapphires (2012)

With fantastic review scores and over 20 awards, this is your big movie release of the day. It’s set in the late 1960s and covers the real-life all-girl group The Sapphires who traveled entertaining US troops in the Vietnam conflict.
Chambers (Season 1) Netflix Original
Genre: Drama, Fantasy, Horror
Cast: Sivan Alyra Rose, Griffin Powell-Arcand, Nicholas Galitzine, Tony Goldwyn
Your next horror binge is here. Reviews haven’t gotten off to a great start with Chambers, the new series starring Uma Thurman but we’ve still got the feeling this is going to be a big hit for Netflix.
The premise of the series is based on a woman who survives a heart transplant but begins developing personality traits.
The Ugly Truth (2009)
Genre: Comedy, Romance
Director: Robert Luketic
Cast: Katherine Heigl, Gerard Butler, Bree Turner, Eric Winter
Runtime: 96 min
The director of this movie is behind the cult hit, Legally Blonde (still streaming on Netflix FYI) and his 2009 follow-up came to similar fanfare but hasn’t gained as much traction since, unfortunately.
The movie is about a morning show segment on TV where a commentator tries to proves his theories on relationships in a segment called “The Ugly Truth”.
