When Calls the Heart is now on Netflix

Welcome to your daily look at what’s new on Netflix. We’re going to be running through all the new additions for December 29th, 2018 today as part of our daily recaps throughout the holidays.

You can keep up-to-date with all of the new additions by visiting our what’s new on Netflix hub or by asking our messenger bot.

We’ll continue doing these daily recaps throughout the holiday but given the response we’ve had, we may continue into next year. Let us know in the comments if you want us to keep them going in 2019.

When Calls the Heart (Season 5)

If you’re a fan of Heartland the chances are you’re already watching When Calls The Heart but if you’re not, this should absolutely be on your list. The series comes from Hallmark Channel in Canada and for most, watching on Netflix is the only way to experience this highly rated show.

The period drama is about a young woman who moves out of the big city into a small rural town where she now teaches at a local school.

In Family We Trust (Season 1)

This new Thai series sees a family in turmoil after the head of the family dies leaving his vast wealth up for grabs. The series is spread across 18 episodes at around an hour each episode.

The series is only available in Thai with English subtitles as well as subtitles for Chinese.

When Angels Sleep (2018) Netflix Original

We missed this title from yesterdays round-up but feel like we need to give it a passing mention. Bird Box is taking up most of the airwaves at the moment but there have been a few good foreign movies slip onto the service and one is “When Angels Sleep”.

It’s a Spanish production although it has numerous language choices for both dub and subtitles including English.

The movie is a horror title where a businessman hits one of two girls in his car.
