Happy Oscars day and Netflix has two new titles now available to you for February 24th. Here’s a look what’s new on Netflix today plus we’ll touch on what’s left today which includes a massive loss from CBS.
We’ve got plenty of Oscars coverage for you today including a look at all the Netflix Original titles up for awards plus looking back at all the past winners and finding out what’s streaming on Netflix right now.
Here are the two new titles added to Netflix today.
Blue Ruin (2013)
Genre: Crime, Drama, Thriller
Runtime: 90 min
Awards: 8 wins & 18 nominations.
It seems appropriate that this multi-award winning movie touched down today but unfortunately, none of its awards were Oscars.
Written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier, this movie tells the tense story of an outsider returning to his hometown to get vengeance and ends up in a gripping firefight.
The movie is one of the most unpredictable movies added in quite some time and is possibly one of the best thrillers now streaming on the service.
Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj (Volume 2 – Episode 3)
Type: Topical Talk Show
Runtime: 28 minutes
This week, Hasan takes on the depressing and frightening topic of student loans. As many in America will know, many have racked up ridiculously high student loan debt but in this episode, he takes on the companies managing said loans.
