One Strange Rock – National Geographic

Welcome to your daily look at the new releases on Netflix for February 5th, 2019. We’ll also take a look at the titles that have left Netflix today plus all the titles scheduled for removal tomorrow too.

This week has been quiet for new releases so far with nothing added yesterday. That’s not a bad thing as last week had over 100 new titles for us to binge through.

Here’s what’s new on Netflix for February 5th:

One Strange Rock (Season 1)

National Geographic’s content was predicted to be leaving Netflix in 2019 but so far, Netflix has picked up several big titles from the documentary channel. This series is absolutely stunning and a great addition to Netflix.

Hosted by Will Smith, the series takes a look at one of the strangest places in the universe, Planet Earth. It rewinds the clock and gets first-hand accounts from scientists and astronauts. The series is a visual marvel and that should be no surprise given it was packaged up by the Oscar-nominated director, Darren Aronofsky.

Ray Romano: Right Here, Around the Corner (2019) Netflix Original

February is the month of Ray Romano on Netflix with two titles arriving on the service. The first of the two, his stand-up special was added to Netflix today. In the 58 minute special, Ray returns to the location of his first ever gig location unannounced.
