When Heroes Fly now on Netflix (Season 1)
Welcome to your daily update for what’s new on Netflix for January 10th, 2019. We’ve got a brand new global Netflix Original series from Israel to highlight today as well as a couple of other little goodies.
As always, for more details on all the new titles you see below plus complete listings for the last few months, keep it locked to our what’s new on Netflix section.
Also make sure you didn’t miss yesterdays additions which included Solo: A Star Wars Story for those in the United States.
When Heroes Fly (Season 1) Netflix Original
Global release excluding Israel
Fauda and The Angel have been two great Israeli shows that have performed great and Netflix hopes that continues with season 1 of When Heroes Fly that’s now available on Netflix worldwide.
The series pits four old friends who had a major falling out traveling to Colombia in search of a friend but end up getting into trouble with various organizations.
Netflix picked up the international distribution to this Hebrew title that aired last year from Keshet International and reviews for the show indicate it’s a great pickup for the streaming service.
Shaka Zulu (Miniseries)
Looking for one of the original series that pioneered the concept of a limited series? Then Shaka Zulu is surely on this list.
The 10 episode series provides a historical account on the life of the Zulu King Shaka.
Pocoyo (Season 4)
Added in the United States and the United Kingdom
Pocoyo is a delightful children’s animated show that features the voice talents of Stephen Fry and Alex Marty. The show is the adventures of the young toddler who gets up to mischeif with his band of characters.
It’s worth noting that not all episodes of season 4 appeared to be available when we checked this morning with only episode 5 showing for me personally.
Mr. Young (Season 3)
Mr Young got its third season added today which is an update to the Canadian kids series akin to what you’d see on the likes of Disney Channel or Nickelodeon.
For those with kids watching, Netflix will notify you before watching but we thought we’d do the same here too. The series features slight sexual references throughout.
