Welcome to your Friday roundup of what’s new on Netflix and it’s packed full of new Netflix Originals. We’ll also cover some of the titles that have left the streaming service in the US over the past 24 hours too.

The big movie of the week is also one that’s pegged to become and ongoing franchise for Netflix. Polar stars Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens who star in this dark adaptation of the comic book.
It’s gruesome and features an epic soundtrack by Joel Zimmerman who’s known for his stage name as Deadmau5.
Black Earth Rising (Limited Series)
This latest pick up from the BBC show’s how the British network is still at the top of its game. In this limited one-off series, they tackle the Rwandan genocide and how one girl who was rescued from the crisis pursues a career in law.
The series features John Goodman, Michaela Coel, and Noma Dumezweni and scored well with critics when it first released in the UK late last year.
Kingdom (Season 1) Netflix Original
We’ve been anxiously awaiting this series for quite some time. Netflix has been without its own big zombie show instead of relying on places like AMC and Syfy. This year, Netflix has two big zombie shows and the first and the most anticipated is Kingdom.
This series originates from Korea but is dubbed in most other languages too. A visual triumph and a truly heart-pounding series.
