Secret Obsession is now on Netflix
Happy Thursday and as we prep for a full day of Netflix Original releases tomorrow, there’s still a few titles to check out for today and a few stragglers from yesterday. Here’s what’s new and what’s departed from Netflix for July 18th, 2019.
Tomorrow will see the Spanish hit Money Heist return for its third part as well as Jerry’s Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Cofee and the fourth season of Queer Eye.
Secret Obsession (2019) Netflix Original
Genre: Drama, Thriller
Director: Peter Sullivan
Cast: Brenda Song, Mike Vogel, Dennis Haysbert, Ashley Scott
Runtime: 97 min
Hoping to appeal to those who loved Neflix’s surprise hit You released in December 2018 is Secret Obsession. Starring Brenda Song (known for her appearances on Disney titles) and Mike Vogel we see a woman who has been badly injured return home with her boyfriend. However, it’s not her boyfriend.
Reviews seem to be mixed so far with some calling it predictable and featuring bad writing and acting. Others have called it an enjoyable flick.

Part 3 (which we’re also expecting to be the final part) just touched down on Netflix and continues the tales of Pinky, a hot-dog sausage who’s attending school for the first time.
Netflix also released a short 1-minute clipping taking you through all of its Emmy nominated shows for 2019.
We also saw the first episode of Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung get added to Netflix, a new Korean period drama which will be releasing on Netflix weekly.
