It’s the end of the week and shortly we’ll be taking a look at what’s coming to Netflix over the next 7 days but first, here’s the new titles added today on Netflix for March 24th, 2019.
It’s been a spectacularly quiet week on Netflix in the United States this week. Perhaps one of the quietest in quite a while. As always, you can keep up-to-date with all the new releases right here.
I Don’t Know How She Does It (2011)
Genre: Comedy, Romance
Director: Douglas McGrath
Cast: Sarah Jessica Parker, Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear, Christina Hendricks
Runtime: 89 min
Despite having some serious talent in this movie, it didn’t quite strike a chord with critics when it released eight years ago.
The movie is based on a book that is about a successful executive who’s having to deal with her professional and personal life from exploding.
Superlopez (2018)
Genre: Comedy
Director: Javier Ruiz Caldera
Cast: Maribel Verdú, Alexandra Jiménez, Dani Rovira, Pedro Casablanc
When it comes to superhero movies, you probably immediately go to Marvel and DC as does most around the world. This comedy movie filmed in Spanish (no English dub available) is about an office worker with superpowers. He decides to reveal himself as the first ever Spanish superhero.
The movie scored mix reviews last year but is unique among the sea of cut and paste superhero movies available at the moment.
Drugs. Inc (Season 5)
Genre: Documentary, Crime
Cast: Mike Secher
From National Geographic, we’ve been treated to the most recent series of the highly acclaimed series on supply chains of illegal drugs.
This season according to the creators sees us looking at “… the pill problem in Utah to the rise of PCP in Washington, D.C., Season 5 delves into drug trades and cases of abuse all across the U.S”.
Sadly, season 5 remains the only series available on Netflix with the previous ones departing from the streaming service recently.
No Patriot Act episode this week
There’s no new Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj this week but during the week Netflix did release some additional content on its YouTube channel which we’ve embedded below.
