Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life now on Netflix

Netflix just keeps on adding new titles as we enter March 2019. March 1st bought us lots of new titles and the second and third of the month equally have lots of new treats. Here’s your highlights plus the full list of what’s new on Netflix for March 3rd, 2019.

Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life (2016)

If you’re waiting for any of the mountainous selection of high school dramas on Netflix to return, this may be the perfect stopgap for an afternoon’s viewing. The movie which is directed by Steve Carr and is all about kids getting revenge. The principal of the school destroys a sketchbook so to get revenge, the kids destroy the rule book.

It’s got many familiar faces among them Lauren Graham, Retta and Andrew Daly. It’s a perfect afternoon watch suitable for kids too that’s a little dumb but has enough originality that sets it aside from other movies in the genre.


Resurrection: Ertugrul (Dirilis: Ertugrul) (Season 3)

Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, History, War
Cast: Engin Altan Düzyatan, Hülya Darcan, Cengiz Coskun, Nurettin Sönmez
Language: Turkish

Turkish dramas do exceedingly well on Netflix and it’s no surprise Netflix has been making multiple Originals in the region. Resurrection has been waiting for a series update on Netflix for a number of years so it’s a pleasant surprise to see it get the third season drop onto the service.

This historical action series is akin to The Last Kingdom whereby it’s a heroic story that’s all about the Ottoman Caliphate.

One thing fans of the show know is that each season is very long with each consisting at around 100 episodes and season 3 is no different.


W. (2008)

W. released at the very end of George W. Bush’s tenure as President of the United States and for the first time, is now on Netflix.

It sets to chronicle the life and Presidency of the 43rd US President which includes controversy and some of the best casting decisions made in recent memory, in particular, Josh Brolin who plays George. W. Bush.
