Delicious Dungeon was an incredibly popular addition to the Netflix library in January 2024, and fans were delighted when the series was renewed for a second season. We have a massive update: Delicious in Dungeon will return to Netflix in October 2027.
Created by Studio Trigger, the same team behind Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the series adapts the fantasy cooking-adventure manga, which began publishing in 2014 and ended in September 2023.
Yoshihiro Miyajima is the director behind the series, and Kimiko Ueno is the writer.

The announcement didn’t come from Netflix but from the show’s official channels (an important distinction), including YouTube (embedded below) and X/Twitter.
“DELICIOUS IN DUNGEON SEASON 2,” reads the Tweet, “Now in production! We want to thank you for supporting Delicious in Dungeon. Please continue to support the series and share your love for the series!”
The renewal shouldn’t be a surprise, as there’s plenty more of the original manga to tell. By our estimate, the season 1 finale roughly brings us up to midway through the eighth volume of the manga series.
Despite the weekly rollout, the series was a huge success on Netflix, featuring in the global top 10s for 5 weeks in total, nabbing 11,900,000 viewing hours globally, equating to 7,700,000 total views.
Since its release, the show has amassed over 18 million views.
Reacting to the news, Damien Haas said,

Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 Netflix release date
It has been confirmed that Delicious in Dungeon season 2 will be released in October 2027!
Sadly, it means an even longer wait, and at the time of writing, fans have 15 months before the release of season 2. However, we are certain it’ll be worth it.
