We’re slowly learning of all the new movies and series coming to Netflix in the United States, and today, we can confirm that Netflix US is going to be picking up the NBC sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, with the first four seasons touching down on February 26th, 2024.

Starring Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, and Chelsea Peretti, the comedy comes from creators Dan Goor and Michael Shur and began its run at Fox for five seasons before being saved for an additional three by NBC.

Running for 152 episodes in total, the show follows a group of police detectives working in the New York precinct. Only the first four are currently bound for Netflix US, and it is unclear whether the newer seasons will join down the road. When Netflix picked up New Amsterdam last year, it quickly acquired additional seasons throughout the remainder of the year.

The show coming to Netflix US will not impact its availability on other platforms, with all eight seasons currently on Peacock Premium.

The addition of Brooklyn Nine-Nine comes as Netflix pushes further into licensing. In the United States, Netflix US is also going to be getting all eight seasons of Monk beginning February 5th, which is in addition to international territories picking up the likes of NCIS, House MD, and Law & Order: SVU.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is already streaming on Netflix globally

The series joining Netflix in the United States will mean that the show is streaming pretty much on Netflix globally.

According to Unogs, countries within Latin America, Australia, and select European territories have been streaming the show since 2015, getting new seasons annually. Other regions like Netflix Canada and Netflix United Kingdom got the show more recently, picking it up first in 2022 and the latter in 2021.

Unlike Netflix US – all international territories can currently stream all eight seasons of the show.
