Netflix is bringing the Grand Line to the brick-building world! The streamer has just confirmed that the upcoming LEGO One Piece animated special will feature the original cast from the hit live-action series reprising their roles in the voice booth following the two-special animated series being announced back in April.
If you thought you couldn’t get enough of Iñaki Godoy’s boundless energy or Mackenyu’s stoic Zoro, get ready to experience them in a whole new dimension.
Thanks to a brand new batch of character cards released by Netflix, we finally have confirmation that the main live-action Straw Hat crew—along with a few familiar faces from the upcoming Season 2—will be lending their voices to their blocky, plastic counterparts.
Here is the confirmed voice cast for the LEGO One Piece animated special:
- Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy
- Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro
- Emily Rudd as Nami
- Jacob Romero as Usopp
- Taz Skylar as Sanji
- Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday
- Chandran notably responded to the news on Instagram, saying, “Mum, I’ve made it “
- Mikaela Hoover as Chopper
Having the live-action cast step in to voice the LEGO special is a massive win for fans and a brilliant move by Netflix to bridge the gap between their live-action universe and this new animated venture. It’s especially exciting to see newcomers like Charithra Chandran and Mikaela Hoover jumping straight into the spin-off fun, giving us a taste of the expanded crew before they make their live-action debuts.
So, when can we see these minifigures in action?
You won’t have to wait long. The first official trailer for the LEGO One Piece special drops tomorrow, July 20th.
The full animated special is officially set to sail onto Netflix globally on September 29th.

We’ll be sure to update you as soon as the trailer goes live tomorrow. Until then, let us know in the comments: Are you excited to hear the live-action cast take on the LEGO universe? Who do you think translates to a minifigure the best?
