Every New Indian Movie & Series on Netflix in August 2026

Netflix celebrated Indian military history with the new Original Hindi fiction series Operation Safed Sagar, an associated documentary called The Last Salute, and a special episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show featuring the cast from the series.

But those weren’t the only Originals added in August. Netflix also debuted the Original Tamil romantic comedy Pyaar Prema Kalyanam (“Love Love Wedding“).

Diya isn’t sure her longtime boyfriend Kunal is really committed to her, so she asks her flirty friend Ally to seduce him as a test. No one expected Ally to actually fall in love with Kunal. This romantic drama is so full of stereotypes that it feels at least a decade out of date. It’s a shame the original Cocktail from 2012 isn’t on Netflix, because it’s much better.

Pyaar Prema Kalyanam (2026) N
