‘Fall in! Love’ Netflix K-Drama Starring Park Hyung Sik: Filming Underway & What We Know So Far

Park Hyung Sik is back for another romantic drama series, and will be joined by Park Gyu Young in Fall In! Love. The series will reportedly have 12 episodes, and filming is now underway. Here’s everything we know about Fall In! Love on Netflix.

Fall In! Love (formerly titled A Proper Romance) is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original romantic comedy series directed by Nam Sung Woo (Useless Lies) and written by Kim Ha Na (My Heart is Beating). Production studio Big Ocean ENM is the studio behind the series.

What is the plot of Fall In! Love?

Na Jeong Seok, once a subordinate in the military to Woo A Mi, is now the CEO of a start-up company. In a twist of fate, Woo A Mi begins at the start-up and is now working as a subordinate to the arrogant CEO.

“This role-reversal office romance follows Jung-seok, the flawless CEO of an outdoor camping brand, whose orderly life is shaken when his former military superior A-mi, a.k.a ‘Viper’, joins his company as a rookie employee.

Once a timid soldier, Jung-seok has reinvented himself as a confident, self-made leader. But his composure is tested when A-mi, once a legendary Special Forces officer, struggles to find her footing in civilian life, and in his office. The reunion of these two, now as CEO and an entry-level employee, sets the stage for an unpredictable, high-stakes romantic tug-of-war.”

Who are the cast members of Fall In! Love?

Park Hyung Sik, South Korea’s “Rom-Com King,” will star in his third Netflix K-drama to date as Na Jeong Seok. He previously starred in Netflix’s Doctor Slump and Strong Girl Nam Soon. He has also starred in other romantic dramas such as Our Blooming Youth, Soundtrack #1, Strong Girl Bong Soon, Hwarang, Happiness, and What Happens to My Family.

Park Gyu Young will play the romantic lead opposite Park Hyung Sik as Woo A Mi. The actress previously starred as Kang No Eul, aka Soldier 011, in Squid Game and as Yun Ji Su in Sweet Home. She has also starred in Netflix’s Celebrity, It’s Okay to Not be Okay, Romance Is a Bonus Book, and the film Mantis.

What is the production status of Fall In! Love?

Netflix has now confirmed that filming is underway! Filming will run until late September 2026!

When is the Fall In! Love Netflix release date?

Thanks to the filming schedule, we can now make a more educated guess on when we expect to see Fall In! Love on Netflix. With filming wrapping in late September 2026 and post-production factored in, the earliest we could expect to see the series on Netflix is in the second half of 2027.
