Left Handed Girl, one of the award winners of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, is coming to Netflix exclusively in late November 2025! Here’s everything we know about the Taiwanese drama film.
Left Handed Girl is an upcoming Taiwanese Netflix Original film directed, produced, and co-written by Shih Ching Tsou. Sean Baker co-wrote and produced the film alongside the director. Alongside Shih Ching Tsou and Sean Baker, the film is produced by Mike Goodridge, Jean Labadie, and Alice Labadie. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2025, where it was the recipient of the Prix du Rail d’Or and the Gan Foundation Award.

With the release of the official trailer, we now have confirmation that Left Handed Girl will be available on Netflix on November 28, 2025.

Who are the cast members of Left Handed Girl?
Janel Tsai plays Shu Fen. To date, the actress has only starred in one Netflix project, the Taiwanese drama series Til Death Do Us Part, in which she played the lead role of Jennifer. She has held leading roles in films such as Life for Sale and You Have to Kill Me.
Ma Shih Yuan plays I Ann. The actress made her acting debut in Left Handed Girl.
Nina Yeh plays I Jing. For such a young actress (9 years old), she has already starred in several dramas, including Who’s the Boss, The Cleaner, and Rainless Love in a Godless Land.
