The Boys from Brazil is an upcoming Netflix Original limited series created and written by Peter Morgan, known for The Crown, and the adaptation of Ira Levin’s 1976 novel of the same name. Orchid Pictures is the production studio behind the series, with Suzanne Mackie and Peter Morgan as executive producers. Andy Stebbing and Andriani Marina Scordellis are also listed as producers.

What is the plot of The Boys from Brazil?
Veteran Nazi hunter Yakov Liebermann finds himself entangled in a web of unimaginable horror when he is tipped off to a sinister conspiracy hatching in the depths of South America: a plan to establish a new, globe-spanning Fourth Reich. Why has Dr. Josef Mengele–Auschwitz’s fiendish “Angel of Death”–tasked a team of former SS men with the slaughter of ninety-four harmless, aging men across the globe? What hidden link binds these men together? What significance could they possibly hold for their pursuers? With the clock ticking and the future of humanity hanging in the balance, can the ailing Liebermann take on a seemingly unstoppable enemy and alter the course of history?

Who are the cast members of The Boys from Brazil?
The only confirmed cast member for the series so far is Jeremy Strong, who will play the lead role of Yakov Liebermann. Strong has only had one role in a Netflix project, playing Jerry Rubin in Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7. The actor is most well-known for his role as Kendall Roy in HBO’s smash hit black comedy series Succession, for which he won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and was nominated a further two times. He was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in The Apprentice.

What is the production status of The Boys from Brazil?
At the time of writing, we still don’t have a full filming schedule for The Boys from Brazil. All we know at this time is filming has been eyed to begin in October 2025, and will take place across the UK, Europe, and Brazil.
When is the Netflix release date for The Boys from Brazil?
There is no confirmed release date for The Boys from Brazil.
With filming scheduled for Fall 2025, the earliest we could expect to see the series on Netflix is late 2026. An early 2027 release is a more realistic release window.
