Dan Levy is back! Following the massive, beloved success of Schitt’s Creek and his recent Netflix feature film Good Grief (not quite a success), Levy returns to our screens with a brand-new series that actually shares quite a bit of the same DNA as Beef season 2, also set for release this month. Bringing his signature blend of sharp wit, hilarious awkwardness, and genuine heart, Big Mistakes promises to be a highly bingeable standout this week. If you’ve been missing Levy’s brilliant comedic timing and ability to craft deeply relatable, flawed characters, clear your Thursday schedule—this, on paper, should be an absolute must-watch. Thrash (2026) Netflix Original

Coming to Netflix: Friday

This one feels like it’s come out of nowhere, given its swift pickup earlier in the year and the reveals over the past month. Serving as the first of several big movies for April, this one is a big Friday night creature feature. If you need a quick pitch: Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor and sharks. That should get most people interested, at least.  

We don’t want to give too much of the plot away, but the official logline reads, “When a Category 5 hurricane decimates a coastal town, the storm surge brings devastation, chaos and something far more frightening: hungry sharks.”

IF (2024)

Coming to Netflix: Thursday

Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski team up for this heartwarming, visually stunning family comedy making its SVOD debut. The film follows a young girl who, while going through a difficult time, suddenly gains the ability to see everyone’s imaginary friends (the “IFs”) who have been left behind as their kids grew up. Together with a grumpy upstairs neighbor (Reynolds), she embarks on a magical quest to reconnect the IFs with new kids. It’s touching, funny, and makes for the perfect family movie night addition this week.

A Massive Week for LIVE Events (NASA & Tyson Fury)

Coming to Netflix: Monday & Sunday

In addition to the regularly scheduled live events like WWE RAW, this week brings two completely different—but equally massive—live broadcast events. First up on Monday, space enthusiasts can tune in to NASA+ Live to witness the highly anticipated Artemis II Lunar Flyby, giving viewers an unprecedented real-time look at humanity’s return to the Moon’s orbit. Then, close out your weekend on Sunday with live, hard-hitting sports action as “The Gypsy King” Tyson Fury takes on Arslanbek Makhmudov in a heavyweight boxing clash you won’t want to miss.
