September 2025 is going to be a busy month for removals from Netflix in the United States. Welcome to your comprehensive preview, giving you notice on all the movies and series currently set to leave throughout the ninth month of the year. Keep it bookmarked, as we’ll be keeping it updated as and when we learn of more titles scheduled for removal.
Looking at some of the highlights among the removals so far. Three more titles from Netflix’s recent deals with HBO and Disney are leaving, including the two award-winning WWII HBO limited series Band of Brothers and The Pacific, which are departing after 2 years. Leaving after just 18 months is all six seasons of the medical drama series The Resident. We’ll also see a handful of Netflix Originals join the 200-odd list of other Originals that have departed over the years, and for the most part, it’s mostly international titles and a few stand-up specials facing the chop.
Note: This list is compiled throughout August and into September 2025 as and when we learn of additional titles scheduled to depart. This list does not represent the complete list until much later in the month prior to the departures. Netflix itself releases an abbreviated list, which we’ll include once it’s dropped to the press.
