Netflix is one of the best platforms for reality dating content thanks to shows such as Love Is Blind, Love on the Spectrum, and Too Hot to Handle. A brand-new addition to the lineup, Age of Attraction, which asks the question “Does age matter if the connection is real?” has already been renewed for a second season after a successful first season.

Age of Attraction is a Netflix Original reality dating series produced by Velvet Hammer Media, with executive producers Jennifer O’Connell, Rebecca Quinn, Sam Dean, and  David Friedman. The series was filmed in Canada, in Whistler and Vancouver, and hosted by Nick Viall and Natalie Joy.

The synopsis for the series reads:

“Age of Attraction throws age out the window as singles search for their soulmates—but will the years come between them? In this reality dating series, connections are put to the test as participants navigate chemistry, life stages, and the question of whether love is truly ageless.”

Age of Attraction got off to a strong start on Netflix. The series broke into the top ten, reaching 6th place in the first week before falling to 7th in week 2. In those two weeks, the series has already amassed 7 million completed views.

For any confusion about why the “Completed Views” decreased while the “Hours viewed” increased in week 2, this is because more episodes were added, which increased the runtime. Netflix calculates views by subtracting the runtime from the total hours viewed, so the more episodes added after the initial release, the fewer views it will convert. Thanks to the total hours viewed, we know that the series grew its audience in week 2.

Week in Top 10 Week Period Hours Viewed Views / CVE Weekly Rank
1 Mar 8 to Mar 15, 2026 INITIAL RELEASE 19,100,000 (New) 3,800,000 6
2 Mar 15 to Mar 22, 2026 21,700,000 (+14%) 3,200,000 7

Thanks to the success of the opening two weeks, Netflix has already renewed Age of Attraction for a second season.

Jennifer O’Connell & Rebecca Quinn, the Executive Producers & Co-Founders of Velvet Hammer Media shared the following quote with Netflix about the renewal:

“We love concepts that are impossible to look away from and Age of Attraction nailed that from day one. It’s messy, it’s real and that’s what makes it fun to watch. Huge thanks to Netflix for embracing this dating experiment with us. The response has been incredible, and we’re excited to push it even further in Season 2.”

When is Age of Attraction season 2 coming to Netflix?

At the time of writing, Netflix has yet to announce a release date for Age of Attractions season 2.

Reality shows can take a long time to film, depending on how long they follow the participants’ journey. However, we expect the second season to be released on Netflix sometime in the first half of 2027.
