The Unified Super Middleweight Championship will be on the line live and exclusively on Netflix as Canelo Álvarez will take on the undefeated Terence Crawford in Las Vegas in September 2025.
Netflix continues to expand its live content offerings, particularly in boxing. In November 2024, at AT&T Stadium, the world witnessed Jake Paul’s showdown with the legendary Mike Tyson, as well as the third fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, which will take place exclusively on Netflix in July 2025.
Netflix will stage its biggest fight yet when two titans of the Super Middleweight Division, Canelo Álvarez (41-0, 31 KOs) and the undefeated Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs), fight for the Unified Super Middleweight Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 13, 2025.
The fight will be streamed exclusively on Netflix and will be available worldwide.
Saul “Canelo” Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) had the following to say about the upcoming fight:
“I’m super happy to be making history again and this time on a Riyadh Season Card that will be broadcast on Netflix. On September 13, I’m ready to show once again that I am the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.” “

Meanwhile, the undefeated Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) also had this to say:
“My perfect record speaks for itself. I am the best fighter in the world and no matter the opponent or weight class, I have always come out on top. On September 13, my hand will be raised once again as the world watches greatness.”

As part of Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season, the press tour for the fight will begin in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 20, and will continue in New York on June 22 and in Las Vegas on June 27.
HE Turki Alalshikh shared his excitement for the fight:
“On September 13, Canelo and Crawford, two legends of boxing, will finally compete against each other in the fight of the century. Alongside Dana White and Sela, we will deliver something truly incredible in Las Vegas for fans around the world to enjoy through Netflix.”
Dana White, the CEO of the UFC, has been brought in to help promote the fight, which he also shared a statement for:
“Turki wants to make the biggest fights that the fans want to see in boxing and this is right up my alley. Are you kidding me that the first boxing fight I’m going to get to promote is Canelo vs. Crawford? It’s literally a once in a lifetime fight. Live on Saturday, September 13, streaming globally on Netflix, two of the GREATEST boxers in the sport will meet in a historic fight from Las Vegas.”
