Season 13 is now streaming on Netflix – here’s when season 14 of NCIS will be on Netflix.
Many excited Netflix fans booted up Netflix on August 1st expecting season 13 of NCIS to be available for streaming, after all it was advertised by the service on their monthly email shot out to media outlets. That date has long gone and NCIS is still yet to appear on Netflix. What exactly is going on? Let’s take a look.
As you may well know, we usually post two articles throughout the month previewing the month to come in terms of the Originals coming and the rest of the content. Usually the rest of the content is announced to media outlets in a full list provided by Netflix towards the third week of the month. Last month, the list was out later than usual which could mean they had trouble finalizing some of the shows. It could be a mistake on Netflix’s end or trouble securing the contract.
For those of you who may not have seen NCIS yet, it’s a long running crime drama show that stands for Naval Criminal Investigate Service. It’s among the longest running prime time TV shows of all time and shows no sign of slowing down with seasons 14 and 15 confirmed by the network.
We have heard rumors that the show has been delayed from being added to Netflix until later in the month. This theory would line up with our usual prediction as to when the series is usually added to Netflix. Last year, season 12 was added to Netflix on August 22nd which roughly fits the same timeline of the rumor.
When we reached out to Netflix we had no real response other than it’s in contract negotiation. We’ll obviously keep an eye on it and as soon as it hits Netflix or we hear anything else, we’ll let you know first here on What’s on Netflix.
