There are 38 new movies and TV shows added to Netflix UK this week, including the brand new Netflix crime drama The Waterfront, horror film 28 Weeks Later just in time for the release of 28 Years Later in cinemas, and the wonderfully animated KPop Demon Hunters.

A brand new crime drama that should hopefully be a smash hit for Netflix. The series features an excellent cast, including Mindhunter’s Holt McCallany and Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist.
On the shores of North Carolina, for generations, the Buckley family reigned supreme with their fishing empire. However, in recent years, their fishing empire has decayed. As those who seek to take advantage of the weakened Buckleys begin to encircle, the family will stop at nothing to revive their crumbling legacy.
28 Weeks Later

With the release of 28 Years Later in theaters, unsurprisingly, this past week has seen the addition of 28 Weeks Later. Sadly, 28 Days Later isn’t available, but to get yourself familiar with the world of 28 Years Later, we would certainly recommend watching 28 Weeks Later before heading to the cinema.

KPop Demon Hunters

Made by the same development team behind the animated Spider-Man films, K-Pop Demon Hunters could be a ginormous hit for Netflix. We’ll be watching this one closely and how it performs in the daily and weekly top 10s.
Three K-pop idols, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, of the girl group Huntrix, moonlight as demon hunters. Tired of being defeated by the trio, the demons take an unorthodox approach to combating Huntrix and establish a rival boy band, which takes the world by storm.
